As the ideal candidate you will liaise with various areas of our clients business, and then transfer knowledge throughout the Procurement team in order to build sustainable capability going forward. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Responsibilities&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Review existing procurement processes for efficiencies and make recommendations for procedural changes &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Create, design, &amp;amp;amp; document methodologies for regular periodic data-extraction and metrics calculations &amp;amp;amp; reporting &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Revise procurement plans to reflect forecast future spend instead of historical spend using forward projection models in order to plan resource utilization and strategic sourcing activities &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Financial modeling to convert high level capital budgets to more detailed versions, and seek to obtain realistic volumes for specific key commodity groups for the purposes of strategic sourcing and business planning &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Create new measurement models and database to assist in the selection of contractors for services &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Create new database and models to assist in generating various metrics measuring contract/supplier effectiveness &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Requirements&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  A bachelors degree in computer science, math and/or finance &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  5 years of progressive IT, finance or supply chain experience in a large sized company, ideally within a professional services industry &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  2 years of end user training experience &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  At least 1 year of Cognos TM1 experience &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  An understanding of OLAP database applications, including the construction of new data cubes and back-end programming &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Proven financial costing and modeling skills along with advanced MS Excel skills including macros &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Proven ability to create process flow diagrams in MS Visio &lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;  Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities </description>      <pubDate>Wed, 02 Jun 2010 00:00:00 PDT</pubDate>      <guid isPermaLink="false">WPCG_JOB_ID_3462</guid>    </item>  </channel></rss>
